With each passing day, the chances of Ángel di María leaving appear to be rising. The radio silence from the Argentine, who is enjoying his holidays following his role in his countrys run to the World Cup final, has the Real Madrid hierarchy smelling a rat. Showdown talks are planned to iron out his future when he reports back for duty, but the club believes he has already checked out mentally. With PSG knocking at the door, Di María has seemingly made his mind up to finally depart the Bernabéu this summer and Los Blancos are taking it as a fait accompli. They believe the offer on the table from the Parisians is impossible to match and so he will ultimately end up at the Parc des Princes. What is holding up matters is that the Ligue 1 champions are struggling with the transfer restrictions imposed on them by UEFA, having already splurged the €50 million they were allowed to spend this summer by signing David Luiz from Chelsea. The upshot is that they will have to sell before they can buy in order to balance the books in terms of both signings and salaries. Real, meanwhile, are waiting for Di María to come back from holiday on 4th August in order to renew talks, hear the player out and decide his future. If he digs his heels in and the club doesnt bend to his will, the Argentines best season in a white shirt will almost certainly be his last and he will be out of the door for €60m.
