A fellow dog face soldier from the 11 B Engineers, US Army, 3rd Infantry Division. The first Division to hit 3 rotations to Iraq. The 3rd Brigade combat team, Dog Face soldiers, were deployed March of 2003, for Operation Iraqi Freedom. SFC Paul Ray Smith fell one month into the Invasion at Baghdad International Airport and took on over 100 enemy republican guard, before his gun fell silent.
