With everything thats been going on health wise for me and just everyday life issues.... I often find myself complaining or getting upset over things that in the long run are so trivial and wont even matter next week. As I was skimming through FB the other day, I noticed a post from a young lady all down and out about life, wanting to just give up and say hell with it all.... when then another young lady commented whos a single HOMELESS mother of 3, giving this other young lady reassurance and telling her to just have FAITH! Telling her to be THANKFUL NO MATTER her trials or tribulations, God has a purpose for her pain. And how she thanks God every morning, just to have a breath in her and her childrens body. Just thankful for the fact that she is ALIVE and WELL! A homeless mom with 3 kids, let me remind you.... That hit me like a ton of bricks and tears immediately began to stream down my face! How selfish of me to be so petty and ungrateful over pointless NOTHINGS when people like her dont know where their next meal will even come from. Just the fact that my husband, kids, and I have the simple luxury of having a place to lay our heads every night.... the stability of a good job for him to go to everyday, the incredible insurance that we have that allows me to see all these specialists and have all these tests run, to be fortunate enough to have vehicles of our own, a house to make a home, running water and electricity, food to eat, cable to watch, etc. It was definitely an eye opener for me to see someone so broken and beaten down by life to have such a precious uplifting heart no matter what. And it definitely makes me want to strive to be better at just being ME. To be THANKFUL in the storms because theres always someone who has it worse! Weeping may endure for the night, but hunny JOY COMES IN THE MORNING!!! 🌅 -- Sorry for the ridiculously long post -- Just wanted to share my heart tonight! 😍
