With heavy hearts, we said goodbye to my Argoman last week. He had a brief battle with hemangiosarcoma, but as is often the case, we did not catch it in time as he already had nodules on his liver. I had hoped to do chemo with him to buy us some extra time. He had surgery on July 8, and had 12 happy days with us until last Sunday. He went downhill rapidly, and I made the choice to not have him suffer any longer. He was my first sport dog and was perfect for everything we did, In my mind he was the perfect GSD: Aloof, but friendly to those he knew. Awesome toy, pack, food drive but nothing extreme. He was great with other animals and especially loved cats, and small children. I couldnt have asked for a better dog. He touched the hearts of many.
