With just one week left for the second season of Bigg Boss Kannada to end, it was a shocker as one of the most popular faces in the house, Anupama Bhat, who has stood tall and survived a record number of eliminations, has been voted out of the house by the viewers. This ensured Swetha Changappa, Deepika Kamaiah and Akul Balaji joined Srujan Lokesh in the finals. While it wasnt a teary-eyed exit as expected, everyone seemed to feel the pinch of losing yet another housemate. Akul, in fact, even said that hes reached a point where he felt everything that happened in the Bigg Boss house as a haze when he was conversing with Kichcha Sudeep on the weekend elimination show. The housemates were also in for a surprise when they had former contestants like Neethu Shetty and Santhosh Kumar talking to them over the phone, which brought back memories of the time spent with others. Anupama, who had been voted as the weakest link a few weeks ago, was nominated every week by default. While she survived against competitors like Neethu, Santhosh and RJ Rohith, her missing out on the finals was a big blow. Anupamas elimination only means that there are two sets of good friends left in the house. While Srujan and Swetha seem to have formed a friendship for life, Akul and Deepika have time and again seen each other as that one reliable person to fall back on during their tough times in the house. With Anupama out and no eliminations left for this week, it will be interesting to see what will be the final weekly task and how Bigg Boss will make these seven days memorable for the final four.
