With my high school reunion coming up and 20yrs since I was a freshman at my beloved CSU I felt very reflective this morning...thinking how I was told I would never be anything and would not graduate high school ..was told I should learn a trade...CSU has visiting Alumni week coming up in Oct. every year I want to participate but always feel like I might not have enough to offer to the students..but I really never compared where I began and where I am now...I am now two classes away from my M.Ed...discussing where I will apply for my PHD..I also own a successful business with branches in the Arts and Education ...a family...a mentor..Most people thought I would be a statistic..but I have beat every one of them concerning black men in America ..If nothing else I have that to share..cant wait for VAD at CSU...and to those people who thought I should study a trade ....I DID..IMMA HUSTLER.. #BeINSPIRED
