With our deep freeze the last week, the troughs have been icing over the top even with the heaters running. We always break the ice once all of the horses are out.. but Mercedes is a little impatient and wants her drink immediately when turned out and breaks it herself (I guess trough water is better than stall water). Anyway, this morning there was no ice, but my worker caught her drinking like this... my special fur kid ;-)
