With so-called amnesty (i.e. not automatically deporting those who illegally entered and took up residence in the USA) - Require that no one who applies for amnesty will be eligible for any federal or state food stamp, cash welfare or subsidized health care and housing for five years. In other works - if the applicant is an undocumented, self-reliant worker as the proponents claim - then it should be no problem for them to agree to continue to BE self-sufficient for another five years. If they cheat? They become persona non grata... permanently. It becomes a felony for them to set foot in the USA. Their prints and DNA go into a registry: no recourse, no lengthy wait for a trial, no habeas corpus, no civil rights - they are automatically sentenced to forced labor camps 5 years first offense, ten the second, and so forth, maybe we can cut a deal with the Chinese or the Saudis to sell them the indentured laborers.
