With the evacuation of our Layag Layag Yellow Boat Community to different areas, layag layag is now purely for seaweed farming. We have adopted a Badjao Community in Santa Cruz Pink Sand Island in Zamboanga City where we will be pilot testing a new YBH project dubbed YELLOW BOAT ADVENTURES! We will donate yellow boats to Badjao families as livelihood. They will Use the boats for ecotourism purposes. Seminars to empower the communities on sustainable ecotourism will be undertaken very soon by our partners. Like our adopt-a-fishermen project we hope to give livelihood to the community so that the kids can go to school. #HopeSails!
