With the exception of perhaps air flight, TV and the internet Imye Menelik introduced all the following to our country: trains, cars, paved roads, electricity, telegraph, radio, phonograph, cinema, photography, eucalyptus and many other plants, modern schools, postal service, banking, pharmacies, paper and minted money, printing press, news paper, hotel, printing press, police, curfew, mills, musical school, musical discs, yarn, rubber, first national park, bicycle, Red Cross, bullet factory, hot water spa, council of ministers, etc etc. But most of all defeated a colonizing European power, and created the one and only free African nation. When Menelik introduced many of his innovations into his African nation, many European nations did not have those innovations. Ethiopia stands on his broad shoulders more than ever before.......
