With the kind permission of his daughter Michelle, it is with sadness that I report the passing of another Group Member, Mr. Alan Cheatle - not Cheadle as he and Michelle kept telling me :-) Alan passed away after a short illness on October 3rd and obviously will be remembered by his family but also by many of us on here who crossed paths with Alan over the years at his various locations in and around the town. Caesars Palace Arcade and Bingo, The Burton Arms and The First & Last at Ormesby. and various others. No doubt there will be quite a few tales about him at the Golf Club ;-) On behalf of the Group, I offer our condolences to his Family.
