With the lousy team the Lakers have put together for the upcoming season, they couldnt get a top tier coach. The jobs been vacant since April 30! Ill have to find another team to follow. An aging and now injury-prone Kobe Bryant is the Lakers only good player but is past his prime. Remains to be seen how good he will be this season. The Lakers lost Pau Gasol. Have no stars now other than Bryant. They should have hired someone like Phil Jackson as the coach and given him part ownership in the team. Hes one of the great basketball minds in history. The Lakers also ought to take running the team away from part owner Jim Buss; hes turned out to be a dunce. His sister Jeannie should be running the team, along with her boyfriend Jackson. Then they would have had a shot at signing LeBron James or Carmelo Anthony. Now, the once legendary Lakers are a has been and will take several years, or more, to rebuild and have been out shone by the Clippers players. The Clips have their own problems with the numbskull owner Sterling. We fans should be following the players and not the mistake-prone owners of these NBA teams. Cleveland, Chicago and New York might be interesting teams to follow this year. LA, LOL!
