With the murder of Senzo Meyiwa, lets ask ourselves this. I said - TopicsExpress

With the murder of Senzo Meyiwa, lets ask ourselves this. I said earlier that a country like Colombia (where Andres Escobar was murdered in 1994) succeeded in improving its security situation through political will. It is doubtful at present that South Africa has been able to do so. So you have high rates of crime (rape and murder) and HIV/AIDS in South Africa, and high HIV/AIDS rates through much of Southern Africa, yet you wont see a senseless and cruel act like this happen in Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho or Swaziland. Yet Southern Africa as a whole has not yet been affected by Ebola. Now go further north. Senegal, Ghana and Nigeria have successfully contained Ebola. Many African countries are sealing their borders. Its the right thing to do. And not the PC thing to do. No surprise that Obama (Obola) wont! But it shows you what a colossal failure the global system is when it happens.
