With the start i want to introduce myself as a representative of STUDENT COMMUNITY BGSBU RAJOURI. Your good self might be well aware of the fact about the ongoing strike started by BGSBU teachers association as u have been reporting about it in ua esteemed newspaper. Sir we the student fraternity of BGSBU on whole want to bring it the light of common masses that the issues bought up by our teachers are the most genuine ones, and to serve this purpose, organisations like you are the only medium. We the students including the teachers are currently experiencing the most unrest and an uneasy situation. We people are the one’s who suffer at the hands of registrar in person and V.C in particular. This is the only university which has administration setup like that of a Govt Department. This is the only university were people are not shuffled just because of the vested interests of a handful of people for whom, to keep corruption alive is the only goal and all this is only shaking the very foundation of this remote institute with each passing day. We have a 90 year old dean as if all the young and eligible ones have been exiled from this land. Reason for his appointment is his close association with the vice chancellor and the family terms they share. He is also holding the key post of controller examinations and his competence was only exposed when he had conspired to pass a student belonging to some blued eyed family by awarding his paper more than 75% marks when he was failing and getting a zero and failing a brilliant student by awarding him zero. The case was later exposed by repeated strikes of students and the mass R.T.I’s which showed that the student he had failed was actually getting more than 80% marks.The R.T.i also revealed several other tampering Mr. Kaul had done with university statues just to benefit himself in person. The institute is ruled by Rashid Chowdhary-The Registrar... Not rotated even once since the university foundation was laid 7 years back..WHY?...i think answer best lies with Mr. Akbar Lone –the higher education minister to whom the students had written more than a dozen times but he is most busy with the elections to be held next year(wht poor students we are of this poor state dis-illusioned by this handicap of system)...the saidofficial has just vandalized this institute. With his corrupt and anti student and anti staff polices the university will soon be in shatters. He ha s already ruined carrers of certain students becoz they dared to raise voices against him n because they were from a particular region-such a regionalist he is.He is repeatedly giving tenders of hostels n universitycanteens to SANJEEV CATERERS for sixth year in row..why?..becoz they pay him well...no matter what and how they serve..after all they get paid even for holidays when hostels are closed... He has made several back door appointments here in this institute. Targeting students and running their carriers is his favourite hobby. Amounting money on different pretexts from poor students with his aide Muzafar(a clerk in DSW office) is something he is up to these days. We have a V.c who is endorsing all this. Who has bought the university standstill. Who has done nothing in his tenure except making his hands dirty in game that is being played from last so many years. WHY WE WANT A RESHUFFLE,WHY WE WANT A CHANGE · To stop corruption in this money starved institute · To put an end to favouritism, anti student, anti staff politics of registrar · We want teachers here.Evry dept in universityis staff starved becoz mr. Kaul and mr. Hamal are of the view that its useless to spend on staff placement rather its more important to spend on the security of v.c and on the boarding and lodgingof mr kaul who gets subsidy from university even on a cup of tea that he and his family has...how students money gets wasted-WHAT A SHAME.. · Crores and crores of rupees are charged from students in the name of placement fee..where these hefty crores go..that is a mystery..as there is hardly any student that has been placed from bgsbu’s campus till date..THANKS TO HAMAL,KAUL,and CHOWDHARY offcourse. · These people admitted there children under the name of employment quota. Be it V.C or registrar every one’s son is a student here.Again a tampering with the statues. WHY? becoz Mr omar Abdullah has no time to read to our demands, requests and our repeated representations. We want to confirm that we in both person and in our ideology are supporting the movement of our beloved teachers have started and we wish to confirm that student community of bgsbu will soon be pondering in this movement and we will be stiffing our strike very badly to get our damnds concede and implemented. The water has spilled over the brim and its high time..we need a change and we need it badly. We hope that you will be highlighting over issues. We have hopes entrusted to you..we have written to you before and even posted to you the copies we used to send to our C.M ,higher education minister, Governor. We have written to all those in secretariat a hundred times.we hope they get time to go through these letters after they come to know through the black and white ink of ua newspaper . Respected sir, With humble submission we the students of BGSBURajouri working for the betterment of the institution under the banner of Student’s Community BGSBU Rajouri J&K want to bring your kind attention to the already submitted representation to your office(copy enclosed). Sir as already stated in the previous communiqué to you that the institution is suffering from the worst just because of a handful of people and mainly because due to the inability of Govt. to takethings in hand. We the students in particular are made to suffer just for pity political favours. We are working day and night even in our student life just for a little upliftment of this institution which because of its unhealthy destiny is located in one of the remote areas of the state and is ruled by the most corrupt ones. We are doing all this undercover just to avoid any more harassment from this anti student administration as they have already threatened us many times verbally that they can do anything with our carrers if this Alumni i.e “Student’s Community BGSBU Rajouri J&K” doesn’t stop coming out with the truth’s of this most corrupt administration, and many a times these verbal threats have become some of the worst nightmares for many students as Mr. Rashid Chowdhray can go to any extent to remain in the office. Sir we have already informed you both verbally and in writing that how the corrupt Registrar, his right hand Muzzafar(clerk in DSW office) and boss of both Mr. Irshad Ah. Hamal are selling this university and the future of young students day and night.We here are forced to pay Rs. 200 for an judicial affidavit which hardly costs 20 rupees and given receipt of only Rs. 20 just because our corrupt kings needed to buy new cell phones and new Hyundai i10.We are made to pay 3400 rupees room rent for hostel accommodation despite having funding from U.G.C and state Govt. Sir this is the third time we are bringing things to your notice. We have already notified the same to Higher education minister and off course to vigilance and also to your much talked and much hyped Grievance cell which does everything except redressal of our grievances. Sir why is all this happening even when the highest offices in the state and even the highest offices in the country are aware of this fact. May be the reasons are best known to you and your Govt..Why everybody in power and having authority is shielding these culprits? These are culprits not onlyof we students but of the people of state. We don’t demand to throw corruption out of state instantly. What we are demanding is at least let the people ofstate get educated without suffering from these stake holders of corruption. At least the poor students do deserve this much and denial of this will not be accepted anymore. Sir its your official, constitutional and moral duty to come to our rescue. Whatever you say you must have guts to do that. Mere fake election promises only makes usbelieve that our C.M who had once spoken terrific in Parliament actually can’t do something terrific on ground. Sir in the previous communiqué we already have given you the detailed list of our complaints and prime accused for them. We want that all of the said problems be solved with no further delay. Currently the Engineering College of University is ready with its 4thoutgoing batch and again the students of this batch have been dogged by the V.C in particular by denying them placement. Sir now the students community is not going to bear anything and we are going to raise our voices and raise them high be that at any cost. Your good self might already be aware that the institution hasa unhealthy history when it comes to strikes and all. We the students of BGSBU under the banner of Student’s Community BGSBU Rajouri J&K want to categorically list our demand as follows ·Either place the students or refund our placement fee i.e Rs. 5000 within 15 days ·Change the V.C and put him to task. ·Change the registrar as his transfer is over due from last six years and hold him accountable for allthe mess he has put in the University. ·Suspend all the staff whose name we have forwarded and start an vigilance inquiry against the tainted officials. · STOP HARRASMENT OF STUDENTS. Sir we have all the hopes entrusted to your good self. We are students and we definitely want to behave like ones. We hope that after this reminder our demands will be accepted and acted upon falling which we will be going on · Hunger Strikes & boycott of classes,. · Protests at civil secretariat Jammu and Srinagar. · Filing of mass RTI against these people and against people supporting these culprits of we students and our parents. ·We students will be marching in large no’s on footfrom Rajouri to your office at Jammu and Srinagar and it doesn’t matter to us how many days it takes but still it will be less painful then the atrocities done on us by those blue eyed people enjoying liberty to the greatest extent just because they have good political backing and are giving alms to everyone around. Sir we definitely don’t want to take these extreme steps. We also want to continue like students in K.U, J.U, and Islamic university and we hope that you will do all the needful to make it possible for your younger brothers and sisters failing which wewill be left with no options except stated above.
