With translation, a verse that arose on the lines of the कण्टकाञ्जलि :- इक्षून् तोयमुपैतु, सन्तु नगरे पौराः पिपासार्दिता दण्ड्यन्तामधिकारिणो निपुणकाः कर्तव्यदक्षाः सदा | सेवन्तां सुखमाखुकीटकगणा धान्यं, म्रियन्तां प्रजाः इत्थं ‘राष्ट्र-समाज-वाद’मनिशं वर्धापयध्वं मुदा || ==> It was requested by some friends that I should give the translation of the said verse. Here it is: (1) May water come to (our unlimited) sugarcanes; (no matter whether) the urban citizens have to remain thirsty; (2) May the skilled and vigilant officers be reprimanded severely; (3) May rats and pests happily consume the grain; (no matter whether) people have to die (out of hunger); (4) (Thus, O People!) Happily hail and propagate always the "Nationalist" and "Socialist" sentiment.
