With very little internet signal the past few days its been tough to access Facebook.Mozambique Magazine is a media platform that has disclaimers on content and advertising like any other media platform in the world. With regards continious mud slinging and property investment protection the magazine feels its important to ensure that the Mozambique Government departments that deal with these issues give us their entire version of what the status quo is on developments that do not have specific approvals.We will be getting this information from the specific departments asap and be publishing a full and comprehensive article on this subject in the next issue.We will get the government minister to approve the article before we publish so we know the content is 100 percent factual. We want to ensure that some developments/lodges arent being targeted for personal reasons or the fact that they are competitive products to some developers who are being very vocal on social media platforms. Of course the consumer needs to be protected and we have always advocated that one ensures you have the best legal firms going through all your documents and confirming you are protected before investing in Mozambique.Until then,lets hold our peace.It is well known that its is a long process when investing in Moz to start a lodge or develop land to resell. Work permits/Residency/Labour issues/Foreign currency collection/Legal framework has been and still is a battle for keen investors.
