Without getting too soppy (because we all know, Madame Grotesque is the most bitter spinster there is and if you think otherwise, then let me introduce you to my friend, mr chainsaw...) Im so grateful that I can do what I love for a living, and its with thanks to you guys supporting me. I realise that theres a good 95% of people out there (probably more) who hate their job but have to struggle through to pay the bills and support their families, or even just to survive. Sometimes I can feel incredibly unproductive being an Artist, because you dont exactly directly give back to society. Whereas people who work in any form of support (there many more jobs than people may think, from nurses, doctors and those in the army to those who work in supermarkets or even call centers) are giving back because they help in some way. Yeah it may take even 3, 4 or 5 people to finally get through every now and again *cough* call centers *cough* but we get there in the end. Even though what I do doesnt directly give back to society, all I really hope for is people to feel even the tiniest form of amusement from seeing the weird stuff I draw. Because even if its only a tiny fragment of happiness, it has taken away a single ounce of crappiness from your day, and that to me makes me feel I can give back to you guys. In a nutshell, thank you for supporting me and enjoying the weird doodle-type things I draw/paint. And never feel unappreciated, because you really are. Now, who wants a spare hand? We have some left over from last nights feast. The nails are still crunchy! P.S, new addition tomorrow night.
