Woke up in the morning of July 25 2002 to head to Ft. Knox for Basic Training. Fast forward twelve years later, I can sit down and just cherish the memories of the experiences and people I met. Today, November 8 2014, the day Im no longer active duty... Three days from now, its Veterans Day. Last night, lost a friend I served with to black on black crime and I never understand how death comes around like that and people just passes away in a blink of an eye smh... So if you have a veteran in your presence, let them know they are appreciated for real. Most of us veterans probably dont ask for much but every now and then, it will be nice to hear a Thank You for serving, at least we would know it was worth it...1
