Woke up this morning at 9:55 and decided to get my hair shaved (sides and back) and went down to Puan. At the Barbershop: Me: Kuya, pashave lng po. B2: Oh, ikaw na. (referring to the youngest barber) -Sat down, B1 put the cloth on and tissue on my neck. Me: Kuya, wag yung maxadong manipis ah? I think ung 3. B1: Kani sir? (showed the razor with #3) Me: Uhm, ganu kanipis yan kuya? B1: Ani sir oh. (showed how thin it was) Me: No, kuya. Maxadong manipis. Wla na bang mas makapal? B1: Naa pa sir. Bsta mas medyo makapal. Okay na ata tung #3 sir Me: Ano? San? Hindi. Kya nga ngtatanong ako db? (raised voice) haha. . B1: Mao ni Sir. He showed me how thin it was and it seemed to be fine with me. So he started shaving my hair. Me: Wag mo lng icut ung patilya ko kuya ha? Kuya kept on shaving. And when he was almost done... Me: Kuya, parang ang pangit ng buhok ko sa likod ung natira. Ang kapal. B1: He checked it out. (In fairness, may sense of style tlaga c kuya). He then started shaving it off. Me: I was really pleased after he got my hair shaved. I was happy. Stood up and.. Me: Kuya, how much ba? B1: 30 lng sir. Me: Handed over 50 and added sayo na yang sobra kuya. B1: Kuya was really happy with all the smile on his face. I was really a happy camper before leaving the Barbershop with ceiling almost of my height and with all the ceiling fans. Its really not WHERE you get your hair done or any type of service that guarantees satisfaction. But in my case, though it was a barbershop, i still got the convenience and satisfaction i deserve as a customer. And i think the guy was pretty pressured with my voice raised that he had to prove his worth. Though we started on a wrong foot, it ended well. Thanks Kuya for making me realize that simple things can still bring huge satisfaction. You started my day so right. #Goodvibes!
