Woke up this morning at home in SC after a day long drive from the Bay really hated to leave, but I had people with me that have to go to work. It is getting harder to leave each time I go home. As usual, there just wasnt enough time to see all the friends that I love and miss they mean so much to me. My wife finally got to meet some of you and now she knows why I talk so much about you. She agrees with me, you are all special. She is also looking forward to getting to know you all better. We were down this weekend to celebrate the life of my mother and to place her ashes with my dad in the memorial garden at the church they attended for so many years. They are together again in a truly beautiful place overlooking The Gulf at Bay St Louis Ms. The Memorial Service was held at Christ Episcopal Church and was very nice and well attended by family and friends. After the service we moved to the Bay Marina for a small reception where we had food and drinks and a great fellowship with many of our friends from the past some came from as far as Maine and on the other side from Washington St. Some I had not seen since childhood many, many years ago. The food was provided by one of my newer friends and fishing buddies Ernie Zimmerman, he really outdid himself for the food was delicious and he got nothing but very high compliments from everyone there. Then there was Mr. Bob and Dianne the owners and operators of the Marina they so graciously provided the facilities of the Marina for our reception they are both wonderful people and I am thankful for their friendship. I thank each and everyone that came and helped celebrate my mothers life and for those who couldnt make you were missed and we are looking forward to seeing you another time. I feel truly blessed by all the love and concern from all of you God has been very, very good to me and I love each of you that he has let me be part of your life. PTL
