A little insight here ... I began playing music at age 5, and i played piano, mostly Baroque and Classical. Some Contemporary and Romantic era stuff, but all in the Classical way; following the markings STRICTLY. Amidst that, i was being fed music from the opposite end of the spectrum; Zapp & Roger, Kool & The Gang, Earth Wind & Fire etc. 70s and 80s R&B/Soul. This is the PERFECT mix of the two worlds. PS: Walter Murphy is the same guy that wrote the music for most, if not all of Seth McFarlanes TV series such as Family Guy, American Dad and The Cleveland Show ;)
