Woke up this morning to a great chat with my elder Brother about Nigerias dwindling educational system. He recalled his NYSC days, where a Ladys Youth Service was abruptly ended because she couldnt answer a seemingly simple High School question. The visiting high-ranking government official who asked the question, went as far as writing the school she graduated from to withdraw her certificate. She had to write JAMB again to be readmitted. Very harsh action, but the sentiment was understandable. A high percentage of our College graduates are no longer half-baked. They never went through the oven.
