Woke up this morning with Thanksgiving in my heart and the urge to share how good God has been. #ThePowerOfPrayer 1. A few months ago me and my prayer partners were praying for one of my relatives. The doctors sent her home to die with aids. They said it was nothing more that they could do and gave her a few weeks to live. But today she is up and about, living life, driving etc.... #ButGod 2. Because of financial hardships in addition to God revealing my true purpose and mission in life my husband stopped going to school to let me further my education. At the time, if He would have tried to complete his education we would have had to pay out of pocket because his military benefits had run out for school. Because of my husbands obedience he enrolled in school a few weeks ago thinking he was going to have to take out a loan and last week he received a letter in the mail saying he doesnt have to pay anything. In fact in addition to the military paying his tuition they are going to pay him every month. #ButGod 3. I kept praying asking God to make away for my 4yr old to go to school this year. In my mind I wanted her to go to a Christian school. And this week she was accepted into a pre-k program at no cost to us. No its not a Christian school but Im grateful anyway. I know my 4yr old will do just fine at any school she attends because she loves The Lord and hides His word in her heart. #ButGod 4. For years I have prayed for my cousin to leave New Orleans because of poor decision making and years of making the same mistakes and going through the same vicious cycle. I visited New Orleans in November and I hadnt talked to her for at least six months. Every time I called home I asked where she was and they would always respond by saying she was ok. She was on my heart heavy and I kept telling my husband something was wrong. Recently she called with her what if questions and I knew then something was wrong. To make a long story short my cousin moved to Georgia last week. #ButGod When we pray its not always about us and what God wants to do in our lives. But often times God calls us to pray for others, those who dont have the strength to pray for themselves. Keep praying and trust God through it all. Im a living testimony God is able! Believe me theres so much more I can share but the timing isnt right!!! All Im going to say is continue to look for God-Possibilities in every situation. #ButGod
