Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, (27 January 1756 - 5 December 1791), was a prolific and influential composer of the classic era (1730 - 1820) of Western Art Music also referred to as Era of Viennese Classicism. In his short life span of 35 years, he composed over 600 works, many acknowledged as pinnacles of symphonic, concertante, chamber, operatic and choral music. He is amongst the most enduringly popular classical composers of Western Art Music.
