Woman found dead in Lagos Hotel Lagos — Police detectives attached to the homicide section of the Lagos State Criminal Investiga-tions Department (SCID), Yaba, are currently investigating the death of a 32-year-old woman in a hotel at Igando area of the metropolis, Daily Trust gathered. A police source at Igando police station told Daily Trust that the lady simply identified as Glory, was found dead in a hotel room. The body of the deceased has since been deposited at Isolo General Hospital mortuary for autopsy. Some staff of the hotel were allegedly quizzed soon after the corpse was found, and they were said to have made statements. The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Ngozi Braide, who confirmed the incident to Daily Trust, said efforts are on to locate the family of the deceased. "We have not been able to establish the actual cause of death. We are still awaiting the medical report, it is only autopsy that will tell us what killed her. There was no mark on her body to suggest that she was raped or manhandled. However, we are not ruling out completely that she may have been killed," she said.
