Woman held in jail for 5 weeks on false allegations of animal abuse. In the midst of a code enforcement quandary, she went to jail for almost five weeks after allegations of animal abuse arose. Those charges were later dropped due to lack of evidence. Her dog Faith, a 14-year-old Labrador, has a skin condition. She was removed from Speronis custody and later returned. As part of her lifestyle, Speronis does not believe in taking her pets to the vet or giving them injections. She treats them holistically. I look at my dog and say, we did this, what we went through.
