Woman’s Day = While we can be proud of the significant progress already made, let this day remind us that to achieve true gender equality much work lay ahead. We have to provide support to womens groups as to find solutions for human rights, dignity and equality; we have to continue to pursue justice and inclusion. Women are mostly still underrepresented at all levels of society. While we applaud every person, government and organization working for women’s empowerment and gender equality in changing laws that provides decent work and equal salaries LET US not forget that woman are still being mistreated, underpaid and not equal. Make a promise today to be committed in moving forward enforcing laws, enjoying equality together.- Deon Basson.
