Women....1 Peter 3 says a gentle and quiet spirit is of great worth in the sight of God. This does not mean weak or mousy, it is simply the opposite of rough and loud. Kind words are like honey. Harsh words are like vinegar and cause strife, pain, and separation. These words and tones drive your husband away. No one responds well to negative rudeness. Im just being honest is lazy. Men....1 Peter 3 also says be considerate and treat your wife with respect. Im not against you, I support you, thank you, I believe in you and Im never quitting on us... Are very comforting phrases and provide great security to your wife. She is your equal (in the sense you are not better than she is) and you lead together. Respect, honor, and serve one another. Dont be afraid to ask your wife, how can I be a better husband?
