Women’s First Division After finishing second on the points table at the end of round play, Featherston Womens 1 came up against Gladstone in the semi-final. Although there were many scoring opportunities throughout the first half of the game, Featherston were unable to finish off, and were left trailing by 3 goals early in the second half. The girls fought hard and managed to close the gap to just 1 goal, kicked off by a stroke scored by Fluer Jane. The final score was 4-3 to Gladstone. Top goal scorers for the season were Hannah Lang and Fluer Jane. Lisa Fitness had a great season delivering consistent play every game, and Litia Jane needs mention for her versatility, being a consistently strong player in many positions.
