Women’s Health Association of Ethiopia is a local NGO working in nine regions in Ethiopia. WHAE has been functioning for three and half years in Ethiopia. WHAE has been able to cover a large area in the country and also enable grass root women to lead a better informed life. In 2014 WHAE’s main activities are strengthening the health education for Harar, Diredawa; make sure the business for Gullele, Mekele, Bahir dar, Shonie and Chancho become a sustainable and profitable business for the women; and establish strong local units in Beninshagul and Gambella. When it comes to Gullele, Mekele, Bahir dar, Shonie and Chancho; a business plan review was conducted for all to understand the underlying conditions of each business. Each business was evaluated and audited and proper revisions have been undertaken.
