Warnings 3:40 PM EST Saturday 27 December 2014 Snowfall warning in effect for: Timmins - Cochrane - Iroquois Falls Snowfall, with total amounts of about 15 cm is expected. A low pressure system currently located over Sault Ste. Marie will continue to move northeastward reaching Quebec by this evening. A band of heavy snow continues to fall along a line extending just north of Sault Ste. Marie to Gogama and Kirkland Lake and is expected to taper off this evening. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Snowfall Warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
