Wonderful Spark Love David Just wanted to share what its like to be on the other side of this concept of helping a fellow man. It had been raining for weeks and our building had flooded. We didnt have a refrigerator and the little 12v R/V type freezer we had for our food, got wet, shorted out and died. We had just bought our food and was facing a devastating situation. As a single Mom of a blind child that is medically fragile, living on food stamps and art work sales, we were a bit worried. We found close to $100 in the form of a loan and headed to Home Depot in an effort to save our months worth of food. We walked in wet, stressed and dirty from the day. It was late, so the little one was fussy, fidgety and banging his cane loudly in 5 year old protest of the situation. Stafford Calles came to serve us in the freezer section. He was patient and kind as I picked his brain about any kind of damaged, used or dented freezer that I could buy with my budget. He patiently got the fork lift guy to bring out a box that held a little freezer in it that had a dent in its lid. He went to his desk and found every kind of discount he could for us, then walked us up to the check out. I was fussing with my son and didnt see him hand the lady his own credit card. The man bought us that freezer and saved us in so many ways that he didnt even know about. He just knew we needed help and stepped up. It still makes me well up in tears all these years later. So thankful!
