Wonderful Trip to Chennai and back... They say too much nice is bad!!! and I realized that only when I had overshot my ride without noticing Krishnagiri and going all the way to Salem (tx goodness!! I had some long pending work there). Truly a great Motarable road... I realized only when I saw Chennai 352 kms!!!! I thought these guys must be crazy... ha ha ha ha ... and asked a policeman, he said S.. It is 350 kms.. It was like again starting my ride from Bangalore.. ha ha ha .. anyway reached Chennai at around 7 in the evening ... but it was too disturbing to focus with all the high beam lights on the right side of me and ALSO left side of my ride... So, remembered Actor Dinesh in one of a kannada picture traveling into a Lorry saying that he thought he was traveling between two bikes :) When I reached the venue .. again I overshot by 1 mile coz the whole place was in darkness. The Green Coconut Resort had switched off all the lights to give a picture that it was not functional any more and truly it was totally nonfunctional. There I saw that Rylarians having fun of their life mostly with silence.. All Claps were transformed into raising of their hands and shaking to acknowledge the performers. There was also a bon fire with great enjoyment mostly in silence.. We slept at around 2:00 in the morning and woke up at 5:30 for a new refreshing day starting off with stretching with Zumba Dance.. It was fun altogether.. I was honored to be given a chance to speak to students and I was happy that it was enjoyed .. We had Chief Guest as a PDG and who motivated the students further and finally distributed the certificates. Finally, the students felt the pain to leave their new found friends who all had been transformed into leaders with this RYLA and shared greetings.. The Logistic team of Rotary Sivakasi did a great job in organizing the students to drop off to their respective stations and airport to continue their journey towards their respective states and towns.. Overall, it was fruitful days spent.. When you are with people who have wisdom you catch on little bit wisdom, and when you are people who have enthusiasm obviously you would catch the fever of enthusiasm.. So these days were no less in influencing me to be better than yesterday... Finally to non-Rotary Friends, JOIN ROTARY - to enjoy life much more in serving others...
