Wonderful i believe all mystics, whatever they r following, r open minded. its only d religionists who r fundamentalistic in their approach. I must admit that recently i came to the conclusion there is some fundamental problems with Islam. Yes, there is the teachings on peace and brotherhood, but also the teachings allowing forced conversion, and even more... But i love Mystics of all Traditions, as they have gone beyond the vehicle of religious form, to direct communion. The Sufis are great Mystics in the same vein. Before Arab money came into Pakistan, we had a great Sufi Tradition there and in Kashmir. Arab Wahabi Islam radicalized the area, mostly destroying the moderate Sufis and displaced the great Kashmiri Pundits, who carried one of the great Yoga Traditions of India, Kashmiri Saivism. We no longer have such a deep and ancient teaching flourishing in Kashmir. What is it when people feel they have to force their beliefs on others, that they must convert others, a real lack of healthy sense of self-identity, deep insecurity....
