Wonderful images taken at the Gissar Nature Reserve by camera traps! Its the first photographic evidence of snow leopards in the central Asian country of Uzbekistan! Until now, the presence of snow leopards in the country has only been confirmed through traditional surveys & very rare visual encounters. These new images confirme the presence of at least 2 snow leopards in the westernmost part of the species range, along with availability of prey species.
