Woo Hoo! Second cataract surgery today and all is well!!!!! NO bad reaction to anesthesia (that put me out of commission for an entire week). Even with my eye totally dilated, I can see better than yesterday (am perusing facebook withOUT glasses for the first time in years). AND--best of all--the horrible headache and eyeball-wanting-to-explode-out-of-its-socket feeling Ive had for the past 6 weeks is gone. I feel 10 years younger and ever so grateful. Thank you, Sarwat Ahmad, for driving me to the surgery center so early on this cold morning and Brenda Mowry for coming all the way over here to take the baton from Sarwat and bring me home. What a fantastic day!
