Woodshed Open Mic, in downtown Toronto, has been a venue for musicians, singers and songwriters since 2013. Hosted by Linda Lavender and David Shilman, both musicians and writers, it is a lively, smoothly run, welcoming venue for performers to test drive their work and network in the music community. Woodshed is run out of Lazy Daisys Café, 1515 Gerrard St. E., on the second Saturday of every month. Open Stage 8:00-10:30pm, with a 25-minute featured set at about 9:00. Sign up to play a 10 minute set. Woodshed provides a 5 channel mixing board, 3 mics and 2 D.I.s and a dedicated sound person. NO COVER! Pass the hat for the featured performer.
