Woof! When you have a 55 lb. Yellow Lab, shes going to be outside. When you have a Yellow Lab outside during the day, shes going to think its hilarious to splish and splash all day in the rain and its even MORE awesome to take a mud bath, then youre going to have to chase her down and give her a real bath -- whether youre in the mood or not. Then said Yellow Lab, who is soaking wet, mind you, gets all ridiculous when you help her into a nice bathtub of warm water, she finally calms down... a bit. Then you have to drag her wet carcass out of the nice tub of warm water only to be thanked with her own rendition of Shake It Off sans the Taylor Swift tune. Then the 55 lb. Yellow Lab, who thinks shes a petite little 7 lb. Yorkie, wants to curl up in your lap and lick your face... and its all ok. (But man, Im tired and my back hurts. Did I mention I had to vacuum like three times to get most of the Yellow Lab hair off the floor and my clothes??)
