Woohoo! Praise God for the IV team. They just got Elis PICC line running again. Elis PICC had stopped working this evening and no one could get it going. He is on IV antibiotics for 4-6 weeks because the infections he has in his back had gone to the bone. So he has to have his PICC line working to get those meds twice a day and for me to be able to do them once we can take him home. Not to mention for his brain surgery on Friday...oh man how we need the stability of IV access right now. It will be so nice once they are able to put in his portacath (permanent IV) Big fat sigh of relief that they got it going...phewww
