Word in, dirt out... ...And when the children of Israel cried out - TopicsExpress

Word in, dirt out... ...And when the children of Israel cried out to the Lord, the Lord raised up a deliverer for them: Ehud the son of Gera, the Benjamite, a left –handed man.” Judges 3:15) This was the second deliverer that the Lord raised. Ehud was left handed- he hid his sword in an uncommon place -his right hand side thigh. Because he did not hide his sword in an obvious place, he managed to go through the security into King Eglon’s chamber. “...So he brought the tribute to Eglon King of Moab. (Now Eglon was a very fat man) (Vs 17) King Eglon was a very fat man- it is possible to have bondages in your life that are not necessarily driven by demonic spirits but they can grow to be very fat in your life because you feed then. The evil nature in you can be fed to unbelievable proportions. “...Ehud took the dagger from his right thigh and thrust it into Eglon’s belly...his entrails came out.” Entrails are very dirty! Entrails represent limitations, challenges and bondages. If not checked, they can grow very fat in your life. The way to deal with these limitations is to use the double edged sword-the word of God. Allow the word of God to come into your life and dirt will come out. “You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.”- John-Wesley Nguuh 15:3 “I have hidden your word in my heart so that I may not sin against you.”- Psalm 119:11 “...Ehud went out through the porch and shut the doors of the upper room behind him and locked them. (Vs23) When the servants later opened the upper room, they found their master fallen dead on the floor (Vs25). This is what happens when you subject your life to the power of the word of God. Bondages and limitations will die and they will be locked up and permanently. “...At that time they killed about ten thousand men of Moab, all stout men of valor; not a man escaped” (Vs 29). Stay in the word of God and you will sort out so many (10,000) challenges and limitations in your life. “...So Moab was subdued that day under the hand of Israel. And the land had rest for eighty years” (Vs 30) Two generations ride on this momentum of the power of the double edged sword- the word of God! Keep your spirit well watered in the word of God.
