Words That Guide Me I found the following saying of the Prophet Mohammad worth sharing considering some of my recent conversations with friends. He is not a perfect performer of the duties of relationship who doeth good to his relatives as they do good to him. He is perfect who doeth good to his relatives when they do not do good to him. - Mohammad SAW I know we now live in times where many put more trust in their friends then they do in their families (one of the prophecies in Islam). Some of us have been pushed in that direction (ill treatment), and others do so by choice (fitting in). But it is important to remember that, deep down, many of us still desire a strong family, not just for ourselves, but also to pass on to our children. And the only way to do so is to strengthen or rebuild what we already have. We cannot fix everyone, nor is that our job. But we can always set the example til the day we pass on.
