Words cannot express how I feel right now...I am still high off of what I experienced tonight at the New Community Temple COGIC in Portsmouth VA. NSU VOIGC presented songs from New Communitys album in 1994 & I am speechless at the turn out. To see the peoples faces light up...hearing the peoples testimonies of how it brought back so many great memories and sparked some good emotions...man. Our job tonight was to ignite the fire in the NCT music department and encourage you all to let you know that music is STILL RELEVANT for the times of today. What made it even more epic was that the writer, the one and only Elder Chris Thomas was in the building. Tonight was a historical moment for me and the NSUVOIGC. Ill be waiting for the radio choir reunion...and Ill leave it at that. NSU I love yall.
