Words cannot express the appreciation I feel to each and every soul that participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge even though they might not understand this devastating disease they were willing to bring attention and money to our cause. It progresses differently for each individual in rate and areas of the body that are affected so there are no benchmarks or ways to predict any new areas of weakness or failure that happen. Living through this disease with my husband and being his caretaker and companion is my personal reason for the importance for the support to the ALS Association Golden West Chapter to continue. You would have to look long and hard to find a better nonprofit organization and I as many of my friends in the ALS community would have struggled a scads more without their help and support. I cry a lot when Im happy and sad and while watching this I cried because I am so very Grateful ;) Everyday is a struggle but my job is to make it easier for Brian D. Butler, the ALS Association Golden West Chapters job is to support me to make life easier for Brian and your job is to support them so they can continue in their quest! ♥
