Words dont suffice. My love of clothes and my love of the poor came together last night. It is impossible to put into words how thankful I am to all who came out to our AfterHours/J.Crew event. We now have hundreds and hundreds of items of clothes for our friends in the park (nearly three truckloads!). People found some great deals at J.Crew with their discounts and ate some killer bundt cake! I saw people I havent seen in YEARS (Whitney Bradford) and even my bartenders from WCG came out. (Great seeing you guys there Megan Murphy & Jennifer Lynn...) The people at J.Crew were amazing in supplying the hospitality and all the food and drink. Amby Mueller please pass on my thanks to Patrick and Juli and your whole team. Last but not least, I cannot thank my peeps at AfterHours enough. Jim McKeeverJim FrancisLaura Ballard-Herships and so many others. You helped make the event go off without a hitch, from setting up, to directing people in the mall to the event, to loading the trucks. I literally could not have done it without you. J.Crew was thrilled with the event and has already said if we want to do another event they are game. We are currently looking at dates to do another event right before Christmas for winter clothing for the guys. You all clothed the naked and had a good time doing it. You all just amaze me. On behalf of all the needy of metro Denver that you helped last night...Thank you so so much.
