Work from home? Why not register for WorkSafe ACT’s ‘Home-based Work and the Work Health and Safety Act’ seminar on 24 October 2013! The seminar will explore the impact of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 on home-based work, exploring issues such as: • can the risks associated with home-based work be managed? • do the new Officer liability provisions mean that home-based work is no longer possible? • what should organisations consider when determining whether to agree to home-based work? • must there always be an assessment of the home environment? • if there must be an assessment of the home environment, who should do it? • how viable is home-based work for small businesses under the new legislation?
