Workers terminated from Belize Maitenance Limited, BML were arrested this morning following an impromptu protest in front of City Hall. Parents, children, siblings and friends gathered in front of the police station waiting to offer moral support and bail, where possible to their loved ones who were cut from their jobs as a result of City Council’s inability to make payments on its sanitation contract with the company.
