Working in a low-income & high-crime area as I do, I see the root of many of our societys problems... too many fatherless boys and young men who lack the positive role models found in Scouting. The negative impact is brandished daily across our media and ultimately felt by us all. I love this story of the difference Scouting made in this boys life, and encourages me in my work and as a Scout Leader.
