Working on a laptop in your favorite coffee shop does have its advantages. I love working like this myself when I am working in my NEW career (web slinging). The problem with most coffee shops is that the table & chair arrangement is way less than conducive to proper body mechanics and often results in neck and back pain (among other things), and eventually poor posture. I am beginning a research project to come up with better coffee-shop laptop ergonomic solutions and will be posting my findings (and interesting articles like the one below) here. TELL ME: What do YOU do to adapt the coffee shop environment to a more ergonomic workplace for you and your laptop? I really would love to hear from you about your experiences with this.
