Working on an ecclesiastical vision. Theres one main question that keeps coming to my mind: What can we offer that people arent getting anywhere else? If you want a Biblical message, you can find that anywhere. If you want an un-Biblical message, thats even easier to come by. You want to think for yourself, join the Unitarians. You want to be told what to think, open the phone book and point to any church at random. You want inclusivity, that happens in a lot of places. You want us versus them, thats easy to find, too. Flexibility in worship? Super-common phenomenon these days. You want to help the homeless and the environment, liberal churches thrive on that stuff. You dont want to care, plenty of places offer that, too. The list goes on and on and on. Every potential need is taken care of. So, I pass the question on to you. What do we have to offer that other places dont? What do we have to offer thats likely to bring people through the door?
