Working with objects from the Permanent Collection, the Crossman - TopicsExpress

Working with objects from the Permanent Collection, the Crossman Gallery Summer staff has organized a new exhibit currently on display and will remain up through August 16. Gallery hours during the summer are limited to weekdays from 10 am – 4 pm and the gallery will be closed during the July 4th break. The gallery is free of charge and open to everyone. Lindsey Mushal, Hannah Hein, Kimberly Storage, Kaitlyn Stirling and Jason Thomson elected to work with nonrepresentational works of art and have chosen a variety of two and three dimensional pieces for the show. Some works were produced by former students (Lisa Fellerson) and a former faculty member (Jack Schoof), others have been donated over the years by some of the many generous patrons of the gallery. Lisa Fellerson just posted the news that she is part of a group show opening at Susan Eley Fine Art, NY July 10 - Sept 6. "Shape Shifting" A Group Summer Show Featuring Semi-abstract Paintings" includes work by Lisa along with Tom Gaines, Kentaro Hiramatsu, Joe Piccillo, Lisa Pressman, and Carlos Puyol. Works by Wisconsin artists include selections by Joseph Friebert, Dan Ramirez and Mark McPhail; several examples from the Madison Print Club collection are also included.
